A fantasy romance, a graded reader for adult and young-adult learners of English at B2 (upper intermediate).
Listen to the complete novel, narrated in British English, with the option to follow the text on screen.
On the island of Sollan the sun doesn't set for eleven weeks of summer, and doesn't rise for eight weeks of winter. A few people can keep summer light in glass, and every lamp costs them a colour of their sight. Liv is nineteen and has hardly given anything yet. Then the first ship of summer brings Teo home, and a letter that asks for forty red lamps.
A complete story: you don't need to read the first Knotted Isles book.
