Emma Clarke has never travelled alone. She lands in Portugal for her best friend's wedding and takes the wrong blue suitcase off the carousel.
Inside: an old man's shirts, a child's drawing, and a silver pocket watch labelled "For Lara — 7". Somewhere in the city, the old man has her bridesmaid's dress. The wedding is on Saturday.
