It Was Here a Minute Ago

A collection of short mysteries, a graded reader for adult learners of English at A2 ("false beginner").

Read all six stories, plus the English Learning Guide, with exercises for every story.

Merrowby is a small town by the sea, and nothing big happens there. But a necklace disappears from a hotel room. A bag waits under a seat on the last bus. A light comes on every night in a flat where nobody lives. Six short mysteries, about ten minutes each, and every one has a surprise at the end.
