Leo Grant is eighteen, waiting for his exam results, and spending the summer at his uncle's in the Lake District. In the garage he finds a home-made radio transmitter and a box of tapes from 2006.

Two teenagers ran a secret radio station from that garage, until one stormy night it stopped. Everyone in town remembers why. Everyone remembers it differently.
