The Man with the Red Beard, A Story of Moscow and London

A journalist just back from a year covering the simmering, not-yet-revolution in Russia, a dissident (or is he a spy?) with a stolen gem, a chance encounter, a shot in the night on a crowded street. Our journalist story-teller has now become a knight errant and begins his journey back to Russia to rescue the dissident's amour, only to find himself falling in love.
